Mountain Air

Postby TRflyman01 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 10:24 pm

Timothy Clark's Mountain Air texture for the default Cessna 172 was always my favorite paint to fly with so I decided to do a version for the Carenado 185. I will be uploading soon if anyone would like it also.

C&C welcome,

It looks great, but you need a New Zealand reg on it!  ;) :)

ZK- then three letters. (Note, the ZK would be dropped in this case, since it is implied on a local operator, and would just be the three letters, like what is on the Cessna parked next to you.)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks,

@ Sean I put the NA reg on it only because I am doing most of my flying in the PNW area.  ;) I will change it for the upload. I need to get back to NZ and Aussie soon anyway.  :)

@ Larry, you can change any of the textures on the different variations of 185's just by putting the textures in the prpoer folder and changing these lines in the CFG.

title=C185F SKYWAGON TUNDRA to title=C185F SKYWAGON AMPHIBIAN
ui_variation="TUNDRA" to ui_variation="AMPHIBIAN"

I will put a generic, just bare metal, float texture in the file also so it will work.

Thanks, Mike

Those bare metal floats on it look fantastic!
Looking forward to seeing you release it. I may actually have to purchase this plane now!  :)
