DO-27

Postby Mr Shanks » Sat Feb 20, 2010 5:09 am

A few shots of the Dornier 27. Nice payware product, very involved and easy to break (if you don't fly it right!).

Only one thing wrong with it though, when using the VC in rain, the glass turns a green-blue colour and you can't see  out???? Maybe i've done something wrong, but the install took care of itself so I don't see how.

Anyway, hope you enjoy.....

Hi,

there is a fix for the non-transparent glass. I think it is posted in the aerosoft updates/FAQ section.

Edit: beautiful shots, by the way! :)

Kind regards
Manuel

Been looking at that one pretty hard.  How does it fly?

Thanks for the glass fix info !!!

As for flying, its real nice. Really quite slow at about 70-80 kts but thats partly why i chose to buy it. Seems to generate a lot of lift, so descents need to be started further out than many of the other aircraft i fly. Really nice little plane, i would recommend. Quite costly when i bought it, but that was a while ago and i got the boxed version.

Having reached my biblical three score and ten, that seems plenty fast enough though a nice tailwind is never out of place - no strain on the airframe
