Stratoliner Fuel Up

How do you bring the image through the SimV server and still have it large? This is as big as I was able to get the pic without going over the size limit.

I'm gonna need a bigger fuel pump!
BTW, it looked alot better on the sim!  ;D

By converting it to a .JPEG:
1. Right click it and say open with Paint
2. Click on File then Save As, and change Save as type to .JPEG

Btw, does it have a VC?

Daube, how is PAINT.NET any better than Paint at converting pictures from bitmap to JPEG?

Well to answer some of your questions:
Yes it does have a VC
I have GIMP, I'm not really an expert so can I use that?
I had no problem converting it, the problem was the size.
If someone could tell me how to do the compression/size thing in GIMP (2.6.7), that would help.

Yes, you can use Gimp.

First open your shot in Gimp & resize it if necessary to the desired Pixel Width from Image/Scale Image. (1024 pixel width is the maximum allowed on this forum.)

Click File/Save As. Type a file name & select a save location in the appropriate boxes.

Select JPEG Image from the File Type option. Click Save.

Click Export from the next option. Then adjust the quality slider to the desired file size. (Check the Preview box to display the file size.) Finally, click Save.

It sounds more complicated than it is.
