no aircraft here!

some nice scenery!

this would have been my JC entry if i had not already entered some silly clouds a few hours before taking this random flight!!

Image

for those that are interested, i took off from 'YKHA' in australia, flew southish beyond the lake, and headed into the mountains. Time? spring, just before sundown. Weather? building storms.

to me this has become one of my favourite places to fly... its just beautiful, and FSX really does it quite nicely!!

Deano... now flying in fog....  :-/

thank you all!

i simply flew an aircraft with no VC! in this case it was the HS 146 for FS 2004. (so technically there was an aircraft but it was invisible!!)

Or if the aircraft has a VC, open the cockpit view (2D panel) and close all gauges/windows ;)
FSX will show a rain effect if it rains, too.

Beautiful shot! Looks like a wild jungle in the middle of no-where :o

All you have to do in 2d is hit S twice. The first time it goes to just the necessary gauges at the bottom of the screen, no panel. The second time is just the view.

Very nice Deano.  :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
