Lynn & Bill in New Zealand...

Postby patchz » Tue Jan 12, 2010 4:47 pm

I finally got around to installing Lawrie Roache's Christchurch photoreal scenery of the Canterbury region of South Island, New Zealand. And I decided to use Lynn & Bill Lyons PA22 Tri-pacer that I finally got around to downloading. I think both are great. The scenery is the best I've seen for low and slow. And the Tri-pacer, which has no 2d panel, has a great VC and flies wonderfully. Both are available on SimV.

I should have my new video card installed by tomorrow and hope to be able to post better shots from then on.

Thanks for looking.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

That aircraft is beautiful!
And the VC is too.

My (2nd) favourite place to fly in - New Zealand (although I have photoreal coverage only for the northernmost parts of NZ).

Patchz, seriously, if it's not already done, you HAVE TO download all of the planes made by Lynn and Bill Lyons. They are must-haves.
This Tripacer was one of the nicest GA plane I know back in my FS9 days. I was really dissapointed when I saw it had texture problems in FSX :/

[color=#000000]Yes, Lynn & Bill do fantastic work. They have, in my opinion, some of the very best VC anywhere.

I've got a FS2004 Tri Pacer flying in FSX with no texture problems. This is the one that I have.

Great shots!

I am a big Lyons fan also.

[quote]I can't remember if there are more right now. So many downloads, so little time.
Don't argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
