J-Bizz The Next Level

Postby JakesF14 » Mon Jan 04, 2010 6:22 am

it is a while now since the first Beta model was out, and a lot of alterations, textures and animations is done.
The next Beta model is available, and I would like some guys to Beta test again

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I did not have any either, at least not with exterior control surfaces. And the auto pilot glitch may have been my fault or a fluke. But I can tell you one thing. This bird is fast, very fast. I took it to 50,000' and 1.66 mach before getting the overspeed warning. And though I had realism settings off so I don't know the effect it would have had, once when I was preoccupied and did not apply the spoiler right away, I saw 1.89 mach before slowing down. J-Bizz likes altitude and speed, a lot.   It reminds me of a ZR-1 (C6 version) Corvette, on steroids.

Hmm this is the first real experiments with the performance, and that is why the Beta testing is so important - to get other person's feel and opinion. It is much of help and greatly appreciated!  :-)

Other than that the take off speed is kinda unrealistic... it should take just a tad bit longer to reach V1 and Rotate speeds

True. that is where the swing wings is related to flap settings. have to play afound with the flaps and as well with the wing area. Have to find a balance between it!. still a lot of tweaking to be done, but at least it is a start
