MayDay

Postby firemonte007 » Mon Dec 28, 2009 6:33 pm

tonight i thought i would dust the wings of my Howard 500 for a nice flight. I guess i was too anxious to get flying...i by-passed doing a complete pre-flight and it came back to bite me. I ended up getting an oil leak on both engines with the right one going to a complete failure and the left one going up into flames....landing gear would not go down so i ended up bellying it in. :-/ :'( the shots were taken on the fly(not being pause with scenery refresh)

The FAA will want to know why you didn't lower the gear and try for that long straight road  :).

[color=#000000]Nice shots Jason. Whose model is that and where did you get it or the livery? It's beautiful. The way I fly, realism turned off, I don't have engine fires.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

[color=#000000]Turns out, that is a FS2004/FSX package update with several liveries, but for some reason there are more entries in the aircraft.cfg than there are textures. And Milton's instructions do not make sense. He says to copy the contents of the texture_adds file to all your texture files and there is no texture_adds file. But I got this livery and a couple more anyway, which is what I was after. Thanks for posting it Jason.
