Up the Amazon River Without a paddle

But with a turbo in the tail and two turbines in the nose, who needs a paddle?

What in Himmel is that? Is it FSX-friendly?

It's a repaint of the ALPHA A-90 Orlyonok (Or Orlenok).  Not FSX friendly "out of the box", but swap out the panel folder with one from a FSX friendly 717 (or any 3 engine jet) and replace the sound folder with the one from the "Souped up" Otter that Patchez did the "Taz" paint job on, and it rocks.

Otter for sound:

Orlyonok:

Panel:  Any three engine commercial jet, especially if they are already FSX compatable.

Some of the "hairpins" are tough, but I found you can "bounce" the beastie over some of the bends, and I'm getting a handle on digging one of the wing tips in to pull a sharp turn. It's not pretty, but somethimes it works. :)

Thanks for the comp, EJW!! :)

Yes I thought you were using some special techniques like that.

By the way, I'm surprised I have still not seen any shot from you featuring this new packages of arcade fighters from Ace Combat in the downloads. Tired of the arcade stuff, or too much Orlyonok-addicted ? :)

You got me pegged!  Heck, since fiddling the Orlyonok and the Sea Monster, I hardly even flown the black repaint Spindrift!  Poor baby is probably feeling neglected.  :P

Come to think of it, the first download of the Aces package didn't have any thumbs, and while I was making some for them, I decided to make some thumbs for the FS9's I had in FSX that didn't have thumbs, and that's when I ran across the Orlyonok. Weird, eh?  :D

The Aces "biplane" things are pretty wild, though.   :)
