If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Nah. Scenery is Pirates Island for FS9 from SimV. I'd give you the page, but it's not showing up in the search right now. I found it earlier by doing a google search, but that ain't finding it either. Must be some of those 'tweaks' still being done. Aircraft is Mike Stone's PBY-6A. I'm still working on the repaint. Got a little more to do before it's finished.

I hadn't noticed how massive the file was, (53 MB!), until I noticed that the Progress Bar wasn't going to stop scrolling any time soon... :o... ;D...!

Paul...paused my present flight waiting for the download to finish!.. ;D...!

Well, Patch, me old Shipmate...;)...

After planting this island (somewhere) in the Caribbean Sea, and spent that past hour endlessly wandering around trying to locate it...

..how about supplying we simple Land-Lubbers with a set of coordinates for it... ;)...!

..(...Or the nearest Airfield).

When I find it, I think I will plant a NDB (or VOR) Beacon on the highest point, to be able to navigate to it by Radio*... :)...!

Paul...lost, somewhere in the Caribbean Archipelago...without a Sail!.... :'(...!

* ...with the aid of FS Navigator... :-*...!

.... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

Patch...!

My life is slowly ebbing away trying to find the exact location of this Pirate Island which I have spent what seems like days downloading and installing... :(...!

I have spent a whole afternoon searching the Google Maps for a possible area, Wikipedia for details of local Islands, U-Tube for instructions, and "flying" aimlessly around the Caribbean Islands...
...without success... >:(...!

I am surprised that the scenery designer gave no details whatsoever of precisely where it could be found after the installation!

Paul...Lost in a Triangle... :'(...!

...any chance of uploading a Map, etc, showing the exact location of the Island?

If you installed it properly it should be listed on the menu. :P :D

PIRI works in FSX, too, except it's a frame rate killer, and it appears that there is a "hard deck" about 1,000 feet ASL.

Don't forget to explore. "There be a cave filled with treasure and heathen totems, there is!"

Ta Doug!.... ;)...!

What was throwing me, is that it doesn't relate in any way to the Google Map location where I was searching... :-[...!

..and I never thought to type it into the "Go to Airport"..."Pirate Island"... :o...!

...much too bloody simple!... ;D... ;D...!

Sorted now...Ta again.. ;).!

Paul...that's used up most of my day now!... :o....!

.... ;D....!

P.S.....I'm definitely going to stick a bleedin' great NDB Radio Beacon in the middle of the Island!... ;D...!
