Stop off at Santa Paula...

Postby Fozzer » Mon Aug 24, 2009 6:26 pm

A busy on-line, Multiplayer day for me today, touring around the whole of the Los Angeles Valley, and up the California West Coast.

A few shots of my stop off at Santa Paula on my way up the coast...>>>

P.S ..the reason why I regularly pop in to Santa Paula, just to remind me who used to live there... ;)...>>>

Used to be when you left the flaps down, on the ground, you were being hijacked  :)

I must admit, I do have that effect on Folks, wherever I land!... :-*...!

Sorry about the Droopy Flaps.... :-[...I normally retract them immediately after landing, and before I taxi to the Parking spot, to avoid floating off into the air again... ;D...!
Taxi too fast with the flaps down, and you will be up into the clear blue sky again!... :o... ;D...!

Paul...in a bit of a flap... ;)...!

I've seen that happy family before. Foz must carry them around with him. How do you manage to cram them into that 150 Paul? ;)

This is a serious question Paul. Never having tried Multiplayer perhaps you can explain why you need to go online to fly around on your own?

PS. I notice the letters on the tail of your 150 are back to front.

Easy-Peasy, Doug...

..I often connect to Sim V Multiplayer during my flights, and hopefully join up with Fellow Sim V Pilots for a Tour of the Countryside.... :-*...!
My intricate knowledge of California means that I can carry out many "educational" Tours of various areas during the flights... :)...!
I often have fun in teaching new recruits the inner working of Radio Navigation whilst on-line. That's where my FS Navigator comes in handy for quickly obtaining Radio Beacon, etc, Frequencies and relaying them to other Pilots!
I love my Bendix-King Radio Stack... :-*... ;D...!
The thing I really miss is the Flight Sim ATC Radio correspondence, which is not available in Multiplayer... :'(...!

My Tail numbers..
I must have a stern word with my Aircraft Painter....(He knows who he is!... [smiley=evil.gif]...).... ;D... ;D...!

Paul...G-BPLF...(My Call Sign on the Multiplayer/Radio)... 8-)...!

Oops!  :-[

I just sent you the corrected texture Paul.   ;)

Looks like a good time!  Next time we'll show up at the start of the flight, instead of the end of it. :D

LOL...

Just spent all afternoon wondering why it didn't work... :o.... ;D....!
Got it now......and the bleedin' Tail number is still "upside down" on the RH Side... ;D...!

The number "150" is printing "through" the Tail; (mirrored?)....;)...!

http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/upsidedown1.jpg

..anyway...I'm flying around now to get the paint to dry...!

Paul... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

P.S. ..so you only get 1/2 a Chocolate Cookie, and a one night stop in a Truckers Lodge... ;)...(with the Trucker)... ;D...!
