Flyin the mach loop

Postby jack_ryan » Wed Aug 19, 2009 12:52 am

Hi All,

I just read about this amazing place in England (actually Wales) where military aircraft fly through these canyons at low level about 50 times a day.

There are places where Columbia river flows through valleys and canyons where I have seen fighters fly low.

It's a twenty minute bike ride from my house to the bombing range. You see RAF Tornados, Harriers and USAF F-15s down there almost all the time (every 20 minutes from 10:00-16:00).

The Tornados and F-15s are amazing. They get down to only 20 feet and they kick up mud and sand nearly 60ft in the air. Amazing!
