1st shots - new card

Postby fabiane » Mon Aug 17, 2009 4:18 pm

So I finally put my old Geforce 7600GT to old poeple's home.

New card is the last produced for AGP bus: A HD3850 with 512 MB DDR3 RAM.

What I've seen so far I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Cheers,
Fabian

Same with me..., I've got a old AGP mainboard.

My 7600GT is listed place 68.
The new card is listed Place 31, so for me it was an improvement.

Your card is listed at place 62
(http://www.3dchip.de/Grafikchipliste/Leistung_Graka.htm)

So yes, a new card may be an improvement.

Ndude wrote there's a 4xxx series out for AGP too. So this might be an option.

Cheers,
Fabian
