Yes, some regions in FSX have good meshes per default, that's quite pleasant.
Very nice shots B-Valvs, those are really cool-looking burners don't you think ? ;)
Try taking a shot at very high altitude (dark sky, and blue burners) !

I didn't take any shots, but I have brought it up to the higher altitudes. It's a very cool effect.

it may only be me.... but in the 1st shot, the 3 lines next to the craft almost look like contrail vortices that somehow got mis-aligned from the craft.   they may not be, but in my eye, the pic would look a lot better if the lines were right behind (above) the craft to make it look like it was pulling high-g's.

Great shots overall though!!

FSX does that with me where it puts the contrails sideways!

FSX does that with me where it puts the contrails sideways!

Yes, it's because in FSX, the coordinates are not in the same order.
In FS9, it was height, longitude and latteral (or something like that).
In FSX, it's now longitude, latteral and finally height.
This is why the smoke systems from the FS9 planes are usually in the wrong place when you import the plane into FSX. You simply need to edit the aircraft.cfg to change the order of the coordinates.
Also, this contrail effect is useless in FSX, because FSX automatically creates contrails at the end of the wings, for any plane automatically, so you can safely remove the contrails effects from the aircraft.cfg.
