YEAP too close from the shore, but its much more easy to land this F-14 from DINO in the Nimints ,that the default Hornet F-18 ,don't you think?..

Alrot, to fly in formation with several Tomcats, it's very easy (well, easy to install, because flying in formation will not be easy at all !! ;D ) and 100% freeware.

You need to install the freeware module FS Recorder.

FS Recorder will appear in the addon menu, just like AI Carriers.

It will allow you to record your flight, just like a video recorder for the TV. The cool point is that you can replay those recordings as separate AI plane.

That means that you stay in your cockpit, you choose "play as AI", you choose the recording and suddenly you see another plane that appears and does everything that you did in that recording.

So practically, you sit in your Tomcat on the runway, and you trigger the "Record" function of FS Recorder. Then, just take off gently, make a short flight around and land on hat same airfield. Once you are stopped, stop the recording (in the menu again). A popup window will appear to let you enter a name for the file. Then, with your plane, return to the beginning of the runway, where you started the recording... and then choose "Play as AI", choose your file and look ! Another Tomcat is on the runway with you. It's you, it will do exactely all that you have done in the past. And YOU, you are still on your plane, so you can follow that guy and try to fly in formation with him (well, with you.. I mean... ok you get it

On the author's page, there's a version which is a little bit more recent.
You can download from there: http://www.fs-recorder.net/downloads.php

You're very welcome Alrot for that 777 ;) I know it's a pain! ;D

I'm glad you're having fun with FSX again instead of working hard on aircraft for us all the time :)
