Typical British Summer training

Postby machineman9 » Thu May 21, 2009 1:41 pm

First time I've properly messed around with FSRecorder. 2 IRIS Panavia Tornado GR4s taking off from Lossiemouth with 2 others ready to take-off, one taxying and 3 others on the ramp. The camera was from the perspective of, yep, you guessed it, another Tornado!

Took me a while to do with all that AI going and finally I got it!

I would've shown some of the Tornados in proper 'swing wing' fashion, but unfortunately they displayed with a ladder going up to the cockpit :(

Any comments welcome.

Cheers for looking.

Hm no comments?

I think this shot could be in the finalists.
A really good shot, the runway looks fantastic, and you can get that feel that these jets are about to soar away because the first one has a hard bank.

Great job and good luck! :o

Well time will tell. Currently I think it is guaranteed to be a finalist, but we shall see how things go later on!  ;D  I reckon there will be a lot of great shots as the theme seems like a really good one.

And thank you. Compared to my other shots this is certainly something very different so I am glad it is liked.

Multiple aircraft, yes I'd say you have a great chance of making the finals.

[color=#000000]Nice shot. Wish I could figure out how to get more than one going in Recorder. But then my system would probably lock up, I get stutter as it is.
Good luck.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Play the previous recording 'as traffic', then record over the top with a different recording. On the menu it should have 'Record' 'Stop' and 'Help' or something. Stop will stop that AI playing. Record will let you record the second aircraft whilst the first one is already going.

To select multiple, just drag the cursor and draw a box over all of the ones you want to play. Or press Ctrl and select them like that. Shift is to select all ones between a region (so you'd have to click the top most recording then the last one and it would select all the ones in between) and Control is to select individual ones.

Hope that helps.

The problem is, when playing back as traffic the only option available is Stop. And pressing Ctrl will not allow multiple to be selected. Nor does any other key combination. I have looked at the manual, read all the posts, and tried several times. It just doesn't work. Wonder how long it will take for my hair to grow back. :-/

And you have definately got the latest version? That is strange. Can you just record all of them then play all of them back?

So instead of recording and playing AI, just record all the AI you want then play them all back without recording again.

I'm assuming I have the latest version. I haven't had it long.
I can record all I want and save each with a different file name. But I can only play one at a time.

:-[ My apologies to all who tried to help. I just discovered that I did not have anywhere near the latest version. Now I do. Thanks. :-[

Just a quick test to insure it works.
