More fun in the C119!...

FS 2004....(As always)... ;)...!

Following my successful delivery of the Fairchild C119 from Los Angeles to Vandenberg Airforce base yesterday,
the U.S.A.F. very kindly decided to let me use it for a trip around my usual home base area...>>>>

Leaving San Francisco International (KSFO) over-flying Golden Gate bridge.
Bay Bridge and Alameda County in the distance, and Alkatraz Prison in the foreground...



Heading for Marin County and Point Reyes...(Wild Bear country!)...



...up in the clear blue yonder!



The busy Highway 101 below. Leading the traffic over Golden Gate Bridge...



...I just hope that the U.S. Airforce are paying for my Avgas during my Tour of Silicon Valley.... .....and beyond!... ...!

I remember I used this plane a lot back in the fS9 days. The virtual cockpit was looking very good and the plane was a joy to fly.
I have to admit I don't really like this repaint though. The chrome/metal effect is good, but the colorfull stripes look a little bit cartoonish, they need some dirt

Out of a range of various C119 Models I tried, this particular Paint-job was the only one I could find that had a nice Panel in a fully working condition...(AP, Radio Nav, etc)......!
