Lancair Legacy

Postby brantmacga » Tue May 26, 2009 10:10 pm

Aircraft: Lancair Legacy 2000 v1.0 For Fs2004
Filename: Legacy5.zip @ SimV
Author: Robert Christopher

This is one of my all-time favorite freeware add-on's in FS9; it is very high-quality, and it screams!

I apologize for the small size, but the orig. file sizes were much too large to upload here.

overall those are Great!!! just might not want to use as much wax on it next time..... reflections in the paint are just a little too much.

I think Real Environment Pro causes that.

[color=#000000]Nice shots. And the 'wax'/shine is part of the reason I'm downloading it right now.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

This is a great plane! And some fantastic shots of her. 8-)

I've done a few repaints for this one, and that shine is like that because of the alpha channel.

I've toned it down a bit for some repaints, and left it off for a 'dull' look for another. ;)

DXTBMP, and a paint program, and it's easily fixed. :)

And check out 'Infranview' for resizing pics to be larger, but still remain uploadable here. ;)

Yeah, like Shane said, you don't need to decrease the size to make it fit the requirements.

Your shots look pretty good overall. Try not to cut off small pieces of the plane (3, 5 and 8) and watch the red text at the top (last one).

8-)

Where in the hell do you put your knees in a bird like that?!  That is one tiny, tiny bird!  Looks sporty!

The reflections on the plane looks quite exagerated maybe... excepted on the shot #3, the top-down view on the taxiway... The plane almost look real, especially the canopy that gets beautifull  8-)
