Fozzer's shiny new Cessna 340A...

Postby Fozzer » Fri May 29, 2009 5:43 am

A short, but speedy trip from Hamilton AFB (SRF) to Ukiah (KUKI), via Sonoma Co. (KSTS)...around 70 Miles...this morning....(whilst cooking Mid-Day Dinner** at the same time.... ;)....)...

..in my new, shiny Cessna 340A, Piston Twin... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

(Designed by our old Sim V Chum Roger Mole (Rollerball) some time ago....Ta Rog!...;)...!

She is a nippy bird for medium range flights as an alternative to the Beech Baron 58....but a bit frisky on landing!... :o...!

Take a cushion, (or three), with you...the Instrument Panel is rather high..;)...!

Here she is parked up at Ukiah ready for a refuel....

...she is also a very thirsty bird!... :o.... ;D....!

FS 2004...as always.... ;)....>>>>

Cheers all... ;)...!

Paul....G-BPLF...FS 2004...and in need of Fuel money!...;)...!

...and Dinner was safely cooked...with no signs of excessive burning...;)...!

P.S. the nice 2D Panel...>>>

Very nice Paul, as always. I'd help you out with the fuel money, but I don't have any Euros. ;D

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Very nice shot Fozzer. I just love the amount of details, and the colors. Also the angle of view that prevent the planes from being the main focus of the shot, that's great :)

Ta, Daube...

..funnily enough...

I don't really post shots for competitions, etc...

I just press "Print screen" during one of my regular daily Tours of California in the hope that someone may like the (comical?) descriptive text, and the screen shot, etc..... :)...!

It passes the time in between pretending to Fly....and cooking my Dins at the same time.... ;D...!

It's all in the mind.....you know... ;)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...and a vivid imagination!... ;D...!

Ta Scalp...;)...!

As a General Aviation, VFR only, sight-seeing, touring Pillock Pilot, I spend most of my time on, or very near the ground, most of the time!... ;)... ;D...!

I love my daily California hops in my little Piston Props, (Cessna 150, etc),

Unusual to see you in anything that has a higher top speed than a Sinclair C5 Paul ;D
