PAD are great developers & designers & contributors to the FS freeware world and this site for many, many years. The models are indeed FS9 models but they make FSX versions (not true FSX) but they work great & that's fine for me.  ;)

If the models work well in FSX that is all that matters. I fly all the PAD aircraft & find them great -- minor details I don't care about. If I can fly IFR & gauges work - that's a great plane. I rarely look at the plane I am flying - only a working VC.   ;D

A regularly talk with Bob May - Barry is too ill to talk right now - & these guys are great guys.

Thanks to Premier & all our developers. We bow to you all.

Pete watch this :)

Both are original MSFS aircraft

FS2004

FSX

and even the FSX Boeing 737 has DDS at 1024 IT allows bitmaps at 4096x4094
while there is a limitation in FS9-SDK 1024x1024 is the limit ..the resolution can gets better ,we all got use to those blurry Dummy panels of FS2004. today that's unacceptable .
These recalls me that time when the VC came out seriously I think was in FS2000 ,I still remember the 100%of the FS people saying in that time I can't fly in that mode ,I need a 2d panel Today that has change a lot now there are more people who flies in VC mode

But there is one mistery I can't never understand ,why developers doesn't use the FSX-SDK ,I even did with my Old 727 ,why others doesn't do this? this old format soon or latter will dissapear .I bet to all of you in the next 3 years there will be Only FSX true FSX models You will see ;)

Thanks for the info Alex!  :) Now that's one great looking overhead panel!! I've always been a VC guy .... built one of the 1st VC's for a helicopter in my Gazelle for FS2000.

I certainly agree FSX SDK offers a LOT more scope .... & therefore, hopefully, a LOT to look forward to!!  :) :)
