Nice for a new guy.  Compression killed them though.  If you want better image quality use a imaging program like Gimp or Photoshop.  They have a function that when you do "save as" you can adjust the size and compression.  Also cropping the picture to focous on one point and not have the red text/show hide in the picture really make it an amazing shot.
