What the heck???

Postby patchz » Mon Apr 20, 2009 7:53 pm

Can anybody explain this? I opened FS9 and went to change location. I did not notice the "of America" after "United States" and was surprised when I got the results in shot #1. I did not choose State or City, just United States, and this was what I got. I was really surprised when I got to shot #2. Any ideas? Harold, you seem to be the resident expert on MAIW Elmendorf, any thoughts?

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

It's a typo for that waypoint (good catch).

Harold, you seem to be the resident expert on MAIW Elmendorf, any thoughts?

Erhm ... well ... not really. Luckily you had Mike jump in before me. My best bet would also be a waypoint as the ICAO for Elmendorf is not MAI2 but PAED.

However, if you need anything from Alaska: I do have over 400 scenery files for Alaska only, so I guess I do know a little bit about it ;)

BTW, I claim to be the MAIW expert around here

You cannot only claim the title Mike, you are indeed the expert! Such a shame you're already married ;D
