Thank you for all your nice comments guys!
Your style and techniques are artwork in my eyes, and inspirational.
Thank you Shane ... one of the reasons that I post screenshots in the freeware board is to show what can be done with a 'freeware only sim'.
I hope that I can inspire others with my screenshots and that they learn from them and improve their screenshooting skills.
I'm honored that my theme this month could inspire you to create wonderful shots like this, but I must confess, your winning shot from last years tri-jets contest is what inspired my theme, and the shot for it.
I always wanted to finish the 'Charlie Whiskey' series, but indeed this months screenshot contest is what gave me the final push towards this series.
As I said before, these screenshots were also intended to show others what can be done with great freeware packages like the ones pictured in the shots above
and inspire others for the contest I knew when I finished the take off sequence that I was going to do a series based on a landing at Boston Logan ...
I'm noming that last shot, a stunning shot indeed.
Thank you for nominating one of my shots. It is always an honor to have a shot nominated

If I may ask, what cloud sets/weather settings were you using in that last shot, some of the best looking FSSW results I've ever seen.
I had to look in my 'cloud.ini' file for the correct setting and found this:
1=Sky Fixed Day set 14,Sky Color
2=Landing lights set 3,Unknown
3=Cumulus A set 1,Cumulus
However, the lights are replaced with
Nick's Light Fix V2.
The weather themes are a mix of the default 'Building Storms' and 'Cold Fronts' themes. I also used the Silver Wings 'Smoke Pall' theme in this series.
I'm glad to see you've finished this set Harold.
I told you to look for some Dutch Liquor in the freeware section

Can I ask what add on you use for your sky and weather? Your clouds are incredible!
For sky and cloud texturing in my 'all freeware sim' (I have separate simulator setups; one freeware and one with payware), I use FS Sky World 2004.
The settings are above and you can get the package
here.
Harold, Harold, Harold. Cutting off parts of the plane. I'm very disappointed.
Thank you Brandon. I am glad you like them

It is true that I am an advocate of not cutting of 'unnecessary' parts of an aircraft, but I think that I also told you that I find it justifiable when using extreme zoom.
I feel that in a panoramic shot cutting off parts is a big NO-NO to me but in this case I think that I can get away with it ...
I'll try to explain why I cut off part of the aircraft in these shots:
In shot 17 the aircraft is not the subject of the shot. The two UPS aircraft in the background are. I didn't want to focus on the aircraft, hence the aircraft has cut off parts ...
In shot 20 I wanted to show the difference in size between the marshaller and the aircraft; I wanted to give it a 'huge' feel.
Shot 23 is a tailshot which justifies cutting of a big part of the aircraft in my view. Ashar always was (and is) the 'King of Tailshots' and everytime I do one I always think: "How would Ash picture this one?" This shot just has some very nice coloring and magnificent clouds in the background. However the winglet of the right wing is missing a bit which is actually a shame. I was focusing on having a complete leveler in the picture and wasn't paying attention to the winglet. It only now occurred to me ...
Luckily, all the other shots feature a 'complete' aircraft
