Pumas can be dangerous!

Postby Fozzer » Thu Apr 02, 2009 5:36 am

..Blimey!

Whatever is to become of me...HELICOPTERS?.... :o...!

Following the two recent accidents involving the Super Puma Helicopters, I download an example to try it out...

In the Sim it flies quite well, and is fairly stable...(as Helicopters go!)...!

Mind you...there is still no guarantee that I will ever become addicted to these strange "flying/crashing things"...trust me... ;D...!

A short flight from Livermore (KLVK), to land (very carefully!) at Byron (C83) Airfield a few miles away..... ::)...!

...so much stress compared to my lovely little Cessna 150 Aerobat.. ;D...!

FS 2004..>>>>

...all this "Whirly" stuff is very unnatural for me... ;D...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...and a high-winged bird!.... ;D...!

Paul in a heli?!?! :o :o

Surely this must mean that it's snowing in Hades and the world is coming to an unnatural end. :-/ :D ;)

Nice looking "whirly" bird you've got there. 8-)

...whenever I try and land a "Helicopter" its always very/extremely gratifying to note a Fire Engine standing by to greet me...(Pic 1)... ;)...!

Tee-Hee...

Its a funny old do...

I often watch the "wanna-be" Helicopter trainee Pilots practicing for their Licence at my local Airfield.......

....so much panic and frustration, compared to the confident Cessna 150/152 "wanna-be" trainee Pilots nipping aloft round the airfield with big grins on their faces... ;D...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004....Helicopters are the die for. Bloody dangerous things!..... ;D... ;D... ;D...!
