Would have been a nice flight..

Postby FlyingPerson » Tue Mar 03, 2009 1:51 pm

.. if FSX hadn't crashed on me. I was going to do a flight over USA (KSFO-KJFK), but about 1/10 on the way, it crashed. I got a few shots though. VC during takeoff:

yup, definitely the Posky 777. I like the bare metal paint on this one! Will have to add it to my 777 collection.  ;)
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Indeed the Posky 777-200ER. The VC is still a little bugged for me though, for example the EICAS from the 737-800 can't fit into the Triple Seven's EICAS display :(

Thanks guys, it really means alot!

Alrot@ I know, but there really aren't that many 777 models made specifically for FSX. There are only 2 freeware Triple Sevens that I can find, and the other one is the Meljet version.. it just can't compare to the Posky one. The only other Triple 7 that can compare (payware), is in my opinion the Just Flight/PSS 777-200/300/Freighter, but those are only for Flight Sim 9.

No problem, seeing that you have the other EICAS panel as the default 777 gauge... just change back the 737 gauge to the 777 gauge. Then use the buttons just below the lower EICAS panel to switch screens.

You Know? That Plane is far from difficult ,Its easy shape ,the fuselage doesn't have funny curves ,I said Da$n ,I already started a real Pain in the Butt ,Otherwise I would start a 777 ,The plane which I download it ,(Posky) is a beautiful plane ,but Weigh too much to the FSX system ,this is one of the advantage of the true FSX model they load much more faster , This one, In fact it Hanged (Typical in Fs9.sdk models) my system when I switch from exterior to interior couple times ..

I was thinking to convert all the textures to dds format and see if it get faster

The important thing is the plane looks good, and your VC works......so you can at least see where you were going before the big crash. ;D
