Russian Visit

Postby OVERLORD_CHRIS » Tue Feb 24, 2009 1:36 pm

Boeing VC-135E Stratotanker

Aircraft 57-2589 was originally delivered as a KC-135A.
She was later re-engined to KC-135E specs. She has had
a comprehensive C4I suite added and has been upgraded
with "Pacer Crag" flight instrumentation. She is most
often referred to as a VC-135E because of her mission
and paint scheme. She still retains the ability to refuel
other aircraft in flight, but has no air-refueling receptacle
installed. In Mar 2003 she replaced C-135C "Speckled
Trout" 61-2669 as the personal transport of USAF Chief of
Staff

Every thing came from when, every one told me to change my settings, and turn off certian things, while turning on other things in the FSX forum. And the clouds are a wierd mix of pay and free. A few years back when I first signed up here, I down loaded some "real cloud" file.

When I get back from work (here now 0615GMT), and I am back on my faster pc, I'll tell you what my settings are.

My filter is set to: Anisotropic, Anti-aliasing on, Lens flare on, light bloom on, advanced animation on, Cloud detail set to med high at med distance. And I can't find the cloud folder since the down load section was remodeled.......I can't find the folder I had while it was in XP before I swapped to Vista. But it came with 3 different cloud options, and had pictures for witch ever one you wanted to use, since you could not use all three.

Sorry I could not link it for you, but it only seems to to that during sun set/rise. Any other time I fly over they just look like they do in the last picture.

I'll have to get back to you on that, but I know that when I am near a heavy populated area/city, it slows down, but when I am in a place like that Russian airport, or places like VRMM & TNCM, it is very high.
