BOAC 377

Postby xFLAMESx » Wed Feb 25, 2009 12:45 pm

Hi guys!
It's been a LONG time since my last post here! LOL!

Anyways, just downloaded and had a quick flight in the new BOAC 377 inc. VC, for FS9 available here at the V...enjoy

1. Take-off from Heathrow in less than ideal conditions
Image

2. Climbing out of Heathrow and into the clouds
Image

3. Attempting to climb out of the clouds...at a sluggish 132 KIAS
Image

4. After struggling with the weather and not reaching more than 2750Ft, decided to put her down at Farnborough...with this approach

Made it down safely...just :P

Apologies for the size and cropping...this is due to me forgetting I have my resolution set really high and needed to be done to fit forum regs :'(

Very nice shots. The weather really adds to them. The angles show alot of action. However, try to not to use the same angle over and over. More creative angles will make the shots more interesting. Also, try not to cut off little parts of the plane like in number one. Other than that, great job.

Cheers for the comments guys! :D

B-Valvs: Yeah, I noticed they had a similar angle after I poseted them lol...guess I need to get re-aquainted with F1View properly! ;D

As for shot 1...unfortunately I had to crop it down just that bit more as the file-size was huge :(

Suggestions are always welcomed 8-)

What do you use to resize?

I use IrfanView to resize although I usually resample rather than straight resize as I hate the look compression leaves on slightly more vibrant colours :'(

Is there anything out there that's better?
I've tried using PSPXI and the files aren't a great deal smaller :(
