My son and I were visiting Disneyworld when Charlie came through. It hit Orlando the day we were scheduled to fly home and we were stuck in Orlando Int. for twenty-six straight hours. During the evening hours they made everyone go to the lower floors due to all the glass in the ceiling. My son and I slept on the luggage conveyor belts. The power went out several times. Pretty scary being in the pitch black with about 1500 other people squeezed in like sardines. An experience I'll never forget!!!

holy crap that sux, after ike we were without power for two weeks and every day i was just sitting out side but luckly a cold front came through and cooled things down but a couple days after it was hot as hell, and when ike was hittin us it was at night i i couldent get any sleep because the howling wind was so loud and it was rattling my garage door so me  and my family stayed up all night (it was the longest night ever) but we got very lucky and got minimal damage to my house and had fences down but thats all and if you saw that post in the pictures section i live next to an airport and a Antonov Bi-plane got flipped over and split and half i will remember those few weeks for the rest of my life 8-)
