Sweet! I think I will download these whilst waiting for my copy of REX. Do you have the link to the plane?

You can get the plane at SimOuthouse.
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?l ... leID=10525

The rest of the list of planes made by the same author:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?l ... ame=Piglet
You'll find a lot of planes, in FSX SP2 native format and in FS9 format for the oldet ones, all with nice virtual cockpits.

Love the plane, but could you post a quick shot of the clouds without your bloom turned on? Just wanting a comparison shot to what I've got now, For my FSX I'm using CumulusX, but it seems to be a program that runs in the background as opposed to being just a set of textures, so these may work out better for me.

The bloom is almost inactive on the outside views.
I'll try to make some additionnal shots with bloom completely disabled, just a moment...

I can't really say I like them  :-/  They do look fairly painted

However that last shot on the first post is amazing!  :o  The clouds look fantastic with bloom  :D

Yes I understand what you mean by "painted".
Especially after seeing so much REX shots all around, it's hard to say that those little freeware cumulus look good.... however, when you compare directly to the default clouds and really start flying with those new ones, you quickly start to notice a nice addition of details, this "painted" impression in fact adds a lot of "volume" impression, and I quite appreciate it. Big cloud formations can now get really impressive, which was totally impossible with the defaut plain white cloud textues.

There's one point I hate with those new texture though: the various cloud "elements" are way too much "round", I will discuss with the author to check if he can produce some more "irregular" shapes in the next version :)

I am currently also using these cloud textures whilst I am waiting for my REX DVD and they ARE much better then the default clouds.

As for the shots, I never really liked the bloom effects, very dark and depressing but hey, that is only my opinion.

These shots still remain spectacular  :D
