This is some crappy photo real scenery in Santa Barbra California but i though the plane looked good ;)

Try that shot again a few thousand more feet up. ;) The mountains in the back don't look that bad at all, the trick with photo scenery is finding the right altitude to bring a nice resolution to it. Start around 5000ft. :) And also angle, since it is a 'photo' , it will look a lot better with a more camera looking down angle. ;)

Still trying to figure out why you get those lines in your scenery. Either way, without the lines, its a good shot! But I agree, higher altitude would make it look even better. Thats the only bad thing with photoreal scenery. It looks great from up high, but get down low and its a big mess.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Maybe the terrain resolution, I know that some photo scenery recomends specific settings when using them, that might be the cause.
