TU-154M

Postby TRflyman01 » Sat Oct 25, 2008 3:10 pm

Has anyone downloaded this from avsim r us? It says it is for fsx and has a vc. The files are a bit complicated, not what I am use to seeing and the instructions are in russian. All I can get is the 2d cockpit, all gauges are showing fine but some are not working or I don't know how to read them. Everything is in Russian on the panel also. You would think this is a Russian jet. ;) It flies fine, but have not landed in it yet, crashed due to overstress because I didn't know my airspeed. I think it looks great and would like to get everything working if anyone has it and can help I would greatly appreciate it.

:-?

Looks a lot like PT's exterior model, but they said that the their Tu-154M is not designed for, and will not work properly, with FSX.

I have a feeling that you downloaded a hacked version...and in this case, I would not count on everything working correctly.

The original PT Tu-154M comes with an over 200 page manual, so it has a bit of a learning curve with it. I would just stick to downloading the proper plane from this site, and learning to use it in FS9.

Nice shots anyway...  ;)

Any of these would have made top ten in the contest. Great work.

Thanks for the comments, just wish I could get it working. Hate to not be able to fly such a good looking model. Thanks for the link Sean but I don't have fs9 installed.
