:o :o ;D I'm getting really excited now! Note to anyone who's going to get this: I started downloading at 1pm sunday afternoon and it's now 6:06am monday morning and I'm still only at 85% of this beast with 3 more hours to go!
But boy o boy is it gonna be worth it! ;D 8-) ;)

And as for these pics Bob: [img]http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/th_smiles59[1].gif[/img]

EDIT: Finally got it going!!! ;D ;D ;D Just about an hour shy of 24hours to download, install and fly! And yes, it was worth every second of it!! The amount of objects and AI this thing displays is unbelievable! And it goes on forever! with 30minutes of brief exploration I never did see where it ends. Didn't have to burn it to any DVDs either, thank goodness for 500Gb hard drives! ;D Off to flying, Thanks Harold for finding this and also to you Bob for posting these pics to finally push me to start this process! Highly recomended!! :)

Hi Shane

Happy to hear you got her working. Like you said well worth the time and effort. And the screen-shots are just going to get better and better. So many places to go and so much to see. Looking forward to your first screen-shots. Also got a PM from Harold. He's a happy camper that we are flying in his homeland. When we get done exploring the Netherlands they are going to have to start scheduling extra flights to accommodate all the new tourists.

I unfortunetly don't have enough HDD space to put this in the same drive as my FS9.  :(

Dude, it really is worth the effort! I is an amazing piece of scenery!! If you have a broadband connection you at least should give it a try. What have you got to loose?

Excellent screenshots Bob! I've been to Zandvoort many times visiting the racetrack and the beach. Apart from (the payware) Cloud9 EHAM, this version of Schiphol Airport really is the best rendition of Schiphol you will find anywhere. I'll put it even stronger ... I think the complete scenery really is much better than VFR Netherlands! And best of all ... it is free!!

On the downside though, it comes in a rather big package ;D

BTW: Amsterdam Harbor is not really Amsterdam Harbour. It is called the Port of IJmuiden, but it is connected to Amsterdam trough the Norht Sea Canal.

One tip, Bob: This scenery (or any other photoreal scenery for that matter) starts looking really good from 3000ft up. Compare your first and second screenshots: the seconds is a little more defined, a little less grainy ...

Once again: thank you for flying in my country!!

I unfortunetly don't have enough HDD space to put this in the same drive as my FS9.

You don't need to do that Alex. You can install it on your other harddrive, as long as you alias it properly in your scenery.cfg. Performance wise it would be better to put it on the same drive as your sim, but I don't think that it would make much of a difference on that beast of yours.

I have NL2000 V3 installed on a UBS2 external hard-drive. When you run the the auto installer you don't have to worry about aliasing it in your scenery.cfg. In does it for you. It runs super smooth and little or no effect on frame rates.
