awesome, i tried them in DX10 and they do look much better in DX9 mostly due to the lack of AA and AF in DX10 :(

im trying to get hold of gizmo to see why i cant download the textures anymore :(

Why don't you have AA and AF on DX10 ?
The missing AA was a very old bug from old NVidia drivers if I remember well, and in any case you could get AA by switching the AA checkbox in the game (contrary to DX9 mode, where you are able to force it via the drivers, even if unselected in the game)

i jsut never had much luck getting the shimmers down like i could in DX9 :( oh well, got hold of gizmo and got his wave maps :) all is sexy in my FS water world once again :P

yeah, he  is working on a free env enchanement pack, runway textures etc etc so he has removed the high res wave map until he is done with the rest of it :)

all good stuff to be fair

Oh great news then.
I have read stuff about this but I'm getting a little bit confused with all those acronyms (FEX, REX. and whatever). Hard to remember which does what and which is free/payware....

I am using it, and I choosed a profile, but then I modified the settings again, for example to adjust the sun and moon reflections etc...
