Tomcat test

Postby gtirob01 » Wed Sep 10, 2008 10:31 pm

Was playing with some things in the aircraft.cfg in another plane and got an idea. Decided to take the camera definitions from the recently released T-45 and apply them to the Tomcat. I didnt get all the shots I wanted, but here are a few. C&C welcome

1st and 3rd shots are using the new camera definitions. The 2nd one is just normal spot view.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Yes, second one is great! Beautiful colors and the peaks in the clouds makes this a real great shot!

I'll second that (second shot), in the others, it seems a bit stretched to me..

The only problem I can see in any of these is that in 1 and 3 you've cut just the tip of the nose off...otherwise great!

I noticed that too. One more zoom out would have been to much though.

Your right. I did play with the zoom on the shots, and zooming out just a bit more did stretch out the jet a bit too much. So where it is now was acceptable to me!

I thought it was possible to pan views such as this in order to include all the nose w/out zooming out further? I'm probably wrong, but it might be an idea to give it a try.... ;)
