I'd kill for that cloud coverage...
Hmmmm.... *eyes pan from Sean to shotgun I just happen to have with me*

You can get such a coverage easilly in fact.
Just go to the meteo settings, go to the advanced meteo, and create a layer of cirrus (or stratus, I always confuse them) with maximum density, 1000 feet large (500 might be enough), and move it to the correct altitude.

In FS9, if you would set  this layer below the mountain tops, the moutains shadows would cast on the clouds, not very precisely but the final effect was really stunning. I didn't try in FSX yet.
