Antonov 26 in the middle of nowhere...

Postby Daube » Sun Sep 07, 2008 10:11 am

Hi all,

Short flight in the Hymalaya, headed to VI66. The area is really impressive, I don't fly there often enough.

Look at those moutain chains  8-)

The airfield shold be in the valley right in front of me, so I start slowing down and reducing my altitude...

Lining up with the runway, lowering my gears and flaps...

Look at this atmosphere.... better turn my panel light ON  8-)

Instruments are more readable now. I'm almost lined up, not a center line but hey ! There's no center line on this runway anyway  ;D

'Hope you like. C&C welcome as usual :)

wow  :o  makes me wish i could use FS9 i usually get about half a flight done then FS9 quite because of "low virtual memory" but i can do a disk cleanup and start FS9 again and it will do the same thing  :'(
What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....

Those shots have a lovely 'glow' to them. Especially through the flightdeck windscreens.

That's the alternative bloom effect, which also works in FS9 by the way.

This is the latest version of the Antonov 26 from Vladimir Zhyhulskiy.
Filename An26ZH.zip. I think I found it here at simviation, but it might be available somewhere else as well :)

I was going to say the same thing... that is a very nice vc! I like the 1st pic as well. Sunsets are cool!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Lovely model and yes the VC is sweet-looking. I'll give this a try!
