WTF Mountain

Postby Vuikag » Sat Jul 12, 2008 7:32 pm

FSX has long been known for it's stunning scenery etc. etc....

I came across these screenshtos from awhile back, and I wish I remembered where this was but what I do know is it's in the Amazon Rainforest,  and as I discovered it, and bombed it, and landed on it, it shall from now on be known as WTF Mountain! Yaaay!

reminds me of a strange thing I saw while flying thru the mountains in northern England. Thing looked kinda like a huge arrowhead sticking up out of the ground. Wish I could find it again as I have no clue where I was flying! haha
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Well I don't know what's going on with your Sim. I went to the coordinates that you were at to check it out. Nothing. The Amazon was just peacefully flowing along.

Looks like the infamous holes in FS9.  I believe those were caused by a glitch in the elevation data.
