Great angle and paint!

Only problem I have with it is that you can read the word "download" in the cockpit from the Posky message about the VC textures.

Overall great screenshot!

Sweet shot the stars & sky are  :o, yeah the download text is kinda minor, I would say more AA but that would blur the stars a bit ;)

Not sure I'm comfortable looking right down that starboard engine intake!

Not a bad shot there! I like the the original repaint; I don't think I've seen that one before in this contest. The coloring and the skies are very nice. The biggest pro however is the extreme and very agressive angle. I love that! And you can see straight into the engine, which makes it even more agressive. I like these kinds of 'in your face' shots; make you go "LOOK OUT!"

However ...

I think that if you would've taken that shot a couple of minutes later (or earlier if it's dusk), could've lit up your aircraft a little nicer and make the ground a little brighter. Those bare metal skins really start to sing when you put them in nice lighting! And I am not a fan of fisheye shots, so that really put me off. The texturing on the flightdesk is something you can overcome by lowering your camera. Though I would've read the readme first or not have used that model at this angle. Talking about the angle I think it is a pitty that you can only see one wing.  Overall your shot could use a little more anti aliasing.

Very nice effort though ... it just needs some polishing ;)

Good luck!

yeah i could of used anti-aliasing but it complete slipped my mind and i didn't have time to take a good picture because if i paused the camera would swing behind the aircraft like this shot here.

I don't get that ... It's a screenshot contest! You only want to enter you very, very best shot.
If you don't give it your best then what's the point of entering? You might as well not enter it at all.

I don't know if you have this question answered...

But yes, if you go to the posky site and download the VC textures, the message should go away. :)

Boy and I thought I was cranky

;D ... that is hilarious John! But honestly I wasn't ;)

It's just how I think about competition (I'm in sales remember?) in general, whether that is a screenshot contest, a soccer match or spitting cherries.
Give it the best you can or don't do it. Don't try ... just do it!

Boy ... I could be working for Nike ;D
