Lil' white flower - part I

Postby haroldkip » Sun May 18, 2008 5:43 pm

Hi All,

My goal for the Kai Tak series was to prove that you don't need any payware add-ons to create some nice screenshots.
After receiving so much positive feedback on my Kai Tak series, I wanted to show you another great freeware airport, and
hopefully in this series I can prove the same for another region for which there are a lot of great add-ons available.

The scenery in this series is the fantastic Zurich Airport by the FreeZ team.

I also used Holger Sandmann's freeware mesh for Switzerland, the base packages for Suisse 2004 by Daniel Gauthier,
landclass and scenery enhancements for Switzerland by Ernst Bosshard and other Suisse 2004 scenery enhancements.

As with my Kai Tak series, this series features Aerosoft's Airport Enhancement Services, which will really bring life to various
airports. Technically AES is payware but it is free to use with some of the finest freeware airports, like Kai Tak and Zurich.
With this airport, there are some sponsor banners on the jetways but are done in such a way that they are not disturbing.

The skies and clouds are made by FS Sky World and some of the ground textures are by Real Environment Pro.

The featured aircraft is the Airbus A330-200 by Project Opensky in a very good Edelweiss livery by Ben Hewitt.

Though I used Walk & Follow, you can easily create such angles using the free Recorder Module!

- parked at the gates, being serviced by refueling- and catering trucks, cargo belts and other animated equipment -

Image

- included are a marshaller, interactive jetways, moving trucks, busses and stairs, cargo vehicles and they're all animated -

Image

- look at the details on this airport, you can even 'walk' inside the terminals -

Image

- also included is an interactive pushback truck and the marshaller stays with you untill pushback is completed -

Thank you for looking, hope you like and please share your feedback!

zeer mooi mijn vriend

Dank je wel, John!

how does he get them so sharp ... this is ridiculous ... and don't tell me this is fs9 too.

He, Victor, gets them so sharp by turning up the sharpening on his graphics card, though Photoshop will sometimes assist me in getting my graphics quality just a little better, which was the case in the third shot; I just couldn't get it sharp the way I wanted it ...

And yes ... this is entirely FS9 8-)

I like these 'series' things

So I've noticed ... thanks Simon! ;)
