Ferrari's Entry

Postby Ferrari308guy » Sat May 10, 2008 3:16 pm

I actually went back to FS2004 to take this screenie. This American 757 blasts its way of out Boston on a less than perfect day.

The weather, traffic, scenery, paint, angle, and gear cycling up all work together nicely to make this one of the best so far. Not sure it would have been as good if the gear had been down and locked.

Brilliant. Every bit of it looks great and I like the transitioning gear.

Best of luck

Yeah! That is a cool screenshot! Eventhough it is overcompressed I like this one a lot ;)

Funny how transitioning landinggear makes a shot more dynamic ...

Good luck!

It's not overcompressed.

Well ... I guess that is a matter of taste really. Or maybe my monitor shows more details than yours 8-)

Compression murders everything :'(. But, there's not much you can do. It really ruined the logo on the US Airways plane on the ramp and the other American MD80s I think  :-/. Thanks for the kind comments though :)

Probably does right now. I'm not on my user and the resolution is set way down to 1280x768. The traffic isn't that great, but it doesn't ruin the shot.

That's something I can agree with you on.

Yeah those issues don't even distract from the shot at all, a very nice  indeed ;)

Yes, I got them a long time ago. I believe they are old Project AI packages, too bad they're FS2004 only.
