I liked it but as the judges seem to dislike photoreal scenery I decided to not post this to the contest...

I like this, but i thought as long as the scenery was freeware youd be ok?

That's not the problem. I just recognized that a photoreal scenery is more often criticised than default one, and hardly a p.r.-scen wins  :P

LOL well there is that. Or use PR but the shots from ground level and it looks pretty rough.....but hey! It looks awesome from 10'000ft!!! ;D

It's my first try with PR-scen and I still like flying that area from time to time (once it's loaded it looks better than low-set graphics  ::) ).

Cool shot! I like photoreal scenery so you wouldn't have heard any criticism from me there! I think I like this one even better ::)

...it also took me quite longer to take those PR shots (finding the right altitude, position ect.).

I now have found several new sources of PR scen (thanks to Daube) and will maybe post even more PR shots (and maybe I will try them again in the contest
