I liked it but as the judges seem to dislike photoreal scenery I decided to not post this to the contest...

That's not the problem. I just recognized that a photoreal scenery is more often criticised than default one, and hardly a p.r.-scen wins  :P

LOL well there is that. Or use PR but the shots from ground level and it looks pretty rough.....but hey! It looks awesome from 10'000ft!!!

It's my first try with PR-scen and I still like flying that area from time to time (once it's loaded it looks better than low-set graphics  ::) ).

Cool shot! I like photoreal scenery so you wouldn't have heard any criticism from me there! I think I like this one even better

...it also took me quite longer to take those PR shots (finding the right altitude, position ect.).

I now have found several new sources of PR scen (thanks to Daube) and will maybe post even more PR shots (and maybe I will try them again in the contest
