My boy (4) is taking an interest in my hobby I have the goflight mcp and a saitek yoke, he is picking it up pretty quick. He asked me if he could fly a really big plane so I hooked him up with the 380 by Mike Stone, here is a couple of shots from his flight.

How good is he on the take offs and landings?

I think my flight sim career started in 1998 with, well, FS98

Great few years until 05 when I got FS9 and a few months back when I got FSX.

He is still a bit rough on the yoke pulling up about 30 deg or more, but he keeps an eye on the airspeed while going down the runway pretty well. And he knows how to engage the autopilot and set his altitude.

He is only 4 so once he is in the air his first impulse is to do a barrel roll or an inverted loop

Arthur is having his 3rd. birthday on July 24th. so he's not quite already like your son.

But today a Twin Comanche passed over our house and he shouted: "Look daddy! Aircraft!!" So I told him: "That is a Twin Comanche".

He then turned to our neighbour - who happened to be in the garden - as told him: "Look Gert-Jan! A Twin Comanche!"

Yeah he has the spirit of "Tex", hey I figure teaching him how to fly could only be a good thing, as long as he doesnt grow up to be a test pilot

The really cool thing is we have something else to chat about now. He is a real conversationalist.
