My a bit outdated mainboard supports up to 2GB RAM  :P.

I had 1 Gb DDR300 RAM and I'm now having 2 Gb DDR400.

So the whole is:
AMD 4200+ X2
2GB RAM,
7600GTS Geforce w 256MB
lots of HDDs and a DVD drive.

But now I'm quite satisfied with my PC for the next time.

Cheers,
Fabian

Indeed, everything runs smoother now. But I can't give you numbers.

Also the new Memory is faster than the old one, so this has an effect, too.

As I already wrote I'm quite satisfied with my FSX settings and perfomance now.

Cheers my friend,
Fabian

Lovely  8-)

All you need is some new EWE and there will be little lambs running around in no time.

Nominating the last one....pretty spectacular  8-)

;D its a farm joke.

"ram" is the male name for sheep and "ewe" is the female name. so you'll have lots of little lambs "babby sheep" running around.

How can I get shots like those? I think I have enough horsepower in the videocard department. So what am I doin' wrong? I have everything I can think of turned up to its max. I have the screen res set within the sim at the highest listed, and the control for the videocards set to the highest possible location for best Quality. I know it's hard to say what I should have without a screenie with which to judge, but I don't know how to embed a shot in a post.

Did just bumping up your RAM do all that? How about a shot with what you had before?

Hm, I think you've got a lot of higher system.
I'm running a Geforce 7600GTS w 256MB
AMD 4200+ X2
And 2 Gb of RAM now (had 1Gb).

So, I think you need to tweak your system a bit. There are lots of tweak on this forum, most written by Nick. He's the person to ask if you've got a problem with your setup.

Other than that a clean installation and defragmentation might be a start.

You could post a shot with your machine.....,

Cheers,
Fabian
