Novorossiysk Airbase, a new (old) airbase.

Postby Reno » Tue Mar 11, 2008 8:26 pm

I was flying around southern Russia the other day and I noticed my favourite base from lockOn: Modern Air Combat wasn't there, so, I decided to make it. And make it I did, as accurately as I could. This is the beta version, buildings and trucks not placed yet.

Here's my version in FS9:

Here's the one I used as reference, in LockOn:

Anyone know how to make the grass instead of the default terrain?

If you like it please say! If I have people wanting it I'll finish it and post it!

C&C welcome and Very well appreciated!
Cheers

If you did this in a program that can do old-style API models, Add some Mlib vehicles... Like fuel tanker, towing truck and a few jeeps

PM me for the link if you want that

The new beta version is getting new military trucks and scenery in it.

Anyone know any good Russian Flanker AI? Or how to create airport.txt files?

Sebastopol is my favorite field, way down in the tip of the crimea! Unfortunately it isnt include in FS either, in reality it isnt a active field anymore, so that explains it. Nice to see your making this field!

I'm also a fan of Sevastopol, I'm actually finished Novo now and I'm starting on the other bases in LockOn, I'm a big fan of all of them, Sevastopol is next actually.
