Howz come the splashscreen wandered to the bottom of the screen?

That happens sometimes ...

Look for the line that reads 'Location' under the [MAIN] section in your fs9.cfg.
It looks like you have have a wide screen so I don't know the values but for my 1280x1024 screen the settings are 316,222,964,756.

Fiddling with these settings should solve any splashscreen placement problems.

Fiddling with the numbers didn't help.

I removed the [main] section, started the sim, and it was fine, the sim re-wrote that section...  ;)

[Keep It Simple]

Simple way to re-center the splash screen in FS9 if I remember correctly:

Switch to  window mode and center the window on your screen.
Switch back to full screen.

The next time you start FS9 the SS should be centered.

Yes, that's a good tip. My sim's been on full-screen mode ever since I got it!

It's a shame that there isn't a method for uprating the opening screen size from 800 x 600 to 1024 x 768, or 1280 x 1024 - it would be good to have a screen-sized splash screen rather than a little box in the middle. (Another advantage that FS2002 had over FS9. There aren't many!) Anybody know if it can be done?
