My Photorealistic Scenery (YSSY)

Postby Mitch. » Sun Dec 23, 2007 8:45 pm

Here are some work in progress shots from my latest endeavour for FSX. This is photorealisitc scenery for Sydney airport (YSSY). It needs alot more work done and I plan to add buildings, trees and vechicles to add to the realism. Comments and criticism is much appreciated and encouraged. ;)

Very nice Mab, the only thing I am not too fond of is the way that the runway/apron/taxiways stand out against the photo. You might be able to do a combination of the default runway and photo to get it to blend in.

Cannot wait to download this when or if you release it.  :)

Should have clarified - blend the edges with the photoreal base to the runway. In real life, runways may have "sharp" edges, but they don't stand out as much. I still stand by my previous comment though, it looks great, and if it is released, it will make a great addition to anyones file library. :)

I don't know how to do that, so I might give it a miss. I still don't know if I'm goin to release this for download, I might just be greedy and keep it to myself. ;)
