Antonov An2

I got this model from the Avsim library. Problem is, I can't get it started. Ctrl+E spins the prop but it won't start. There is a Manual Doc but it is mostly jibberish. One small reference in there about "start with Ctrl+E".

Have you tried holding Ctrl+E? Up to 10 seconds... The prop is supposed to spin for some time before turning the engine on

Yes, I tried that. No dice. Looks like a good candidate for the Recycle bin. By the way, the engine will start and run in FS9.

hey bub, it looks like you dont have the power on, and the auto start might not do that for ya, should be the red toggle at the top of the panel. if that doesnt do it, and open fuel valves/pumps i have a helo or two that dont start until i flip the fuel switches
What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....

Oh... if the model is made for FS9 most probably it won't work well in FSX

ctrl-e wont work on that... you need to put a bit of throttle on it then start with m-and-hold-the-plus-key. Throttle on idle = engine stops

AFAIK gauges dont work in FS9...

You are not going to believe this but I went to try the M+ thing and when FS started, the engine was starting and ran on it's own. Didn't have to touch the M key. That is weird. Now all I have to do is fix the sound which is no problem.
