Simpler Days

Postby Soames » Wed Dec 12, 2007 4:32 am

I thought long and hard about this. My favourite aircraft; Spitfire, Mosquito, F16, Jaguar, etc. But when all wild speculation finished my heart settled on the DH104 Dove.

I would want this and a return to a time when air travel was simpler, less crowded, less security minded, air terminals didn't feel like a shopping mall and the stewardesses pretty. ;)

I don't think that's to much to ask for :D

Excellent screen shot + happier times... :)...!

I can remember a time when the passengers waiting for their charted aircraft to arrive at my nearby airfield, Staverton (Gloucestershire), would lie on the grass bordering the runway, in the Summer-time, chatting to each other .... :)...!

A more care-free, easy-going, and happier time...long ago...!

Paul....G-BPLF....(Herefordshire).... 8-)...!

I can feel that cold. Very nice, and a wonderful aircraft.
Our beloved Sabena used to fly these birds...
Ah, Sabena...  :)

Looks great... the clouds are brill! (which are they? they look very realistic)

Everything is crisp, clean and really nice looking

Thanks for the positive words guys.

In answer to your question Machineman9, those are default FSX clouds. I chucked in three levels of different sorts and lit them with a late winter, early evening sun.

Great everything; color, angle, and scenery. You should do well.
