Time Rate of Change of Velocity...

Postby Mobius » Wed Oct 24, 2007 8:36 pm

...or Acceleration. ;)

Acceleration is amazing!  The carriers work great, most, if not all of the systems on the F/A-18 have been modeled really well, the new aircraft look incredible (I mean INCREDIBLE), there are a bunch of new missions, a bunch of new photo-real sceneries, and the addition of DX10 content (I'll post shots later), as well as a bunch of other stuff, but I forgot.  Well worth the $30.00 (or $18.00 at Circuit City).

Sorry, but these shots were murdered by compression because I haven't installed anything other than paint to resize screenshots.  Also, these are my first shots posted with my new computer, so enjoy. ;)

Thanks for looking. :)

P.S. Yeah, I know about the red writing, oh well...:P

Very nice...Rather like the Hangar...Not a big fan of photoreal sceneries so can't say much about that ;) 8-)

This one is amazing.  It has buildings and hangars in all the right places and everything.  It's just the way a photoreal scenery should be. ;)

Nope. That's KEDW (Edwards Air Force Base).

15,000 foot paved runway (4/22 I believe)

35,000 (7.5 MILES!) foot desert runway (17/35)

Groom Lake may be similar, especially the main runways, however as far as I know; Groom Lake only has two runways. One very long runway extending into the Lake Bed, and another one parallel to it, with the Primary runway between the Secondary and the Base itself.

KEDW has many, MANY runways. Hell, you could use the whole Lake Bed as a runway if needed, and land just about anywhere on it fairly safe.

Looks astounding, I have to get that! I wonder when it will get to the Czech Republic... next year probably...

Wouldn't it be wonderful if instead of hurrying on to something else, Aces trod water for a bit longer and produced some more datadisks.... they would make a whole packet of money for just working to expand something that's basically already done.

How do you get into the hanger, just drive in through a wall or any closed door and is this in all hangers at Edwards or just certain ones?  If just certain ones, which ones?

It's the ones with the hangar doors already open.  If your scenery complexity and density turned up far enough, they should just be along the main flight lines. ;)
