My guess is that it was edited: 800X500

Why? I'm on a laptop and my FS9 runs at 1280x800...In order to preserve the aspect ratio, the resizing always ends up in the images being 800x500...And besides, that part of the rule has been eliminated:

3. All images Must BE 800 WIDE! Since many people are now running wide screen monitors and have machines running at higher resolutions, the 600 high rule has been eliminated! However, if you crop your image, it will be disqualified!!  No cropping, editing or adjusting your shot!! Any images over 100 kb in weight, and being smaller than 800 wide will not be VALID!  This rule is now being enforced since This is a Screenshot Contest and we "want to see the RAW shot!" All entries must be uploaded to SimV.

If you're using photoshop to resize, untick "Lock aspect ratio" and then manually enter the wxh parameters as 800x600...
Image becomes slightly distorted though... So I get what you're saying.

Well it wouldn't be fair for someone with a nice widescreen to have to ruin their shot by conforming to non widescreen parameters.

Are you serious?
Every single shot entered into the screenshot contest forum is moved to the freeware forum to make room for the 10 Finalists Poll.
This is how it has been done since we started the contest.
All entries were moved here on December 7, two days after the deadline!

If you look around, all the entries are in here, they are placed in the forum as to their last reply date, therefore they will be scattered around in here.

Oh Boy
