Real Screenshots

Haha, took my girlfriend's monitor today for a quick "Friday harbour" default flight trip. And I'll do it again.  ;D
Was really great fun, If you don't mind the money you'll have to spend for a second LCD. I didn't have, just grab it on the other desk next to mine. But I think the tripple head to go by Matrox is a bit... hm ... oversized.
I think two 19'' LCD as seen here is already close to overkill.

Hope that's the right place, if not feel free to move,

Cheers,
Fabian

Although it's cool, I'm not too tempted...For one thing, there is a big piece of plastic ruining the view... ::) ;D

Looks really neat.  Nice having an extra wide screen.  Though I agree with Ashar about the plastic lol

I have to agree, that really spoils it big time, the plastic between the 2 screens.

Glad you poted it, I read about that option (2 screens) and now surely wont even bother.

Luckily the plastic frame on LGs isn't big compared to others, it's only about 1 cm, but that causes a 2cm blackout in the center. The Resolution was 2560x1024 pixel. Despite the fact I quickly had to give the screen back I would agree and never buy an extra monitor. It's not worth the money. When flying the plastic frame didn't bother me, because the whole frame is so huge, there's always sth. else to look at.

But with three monitors you get 2 plastic pieces but clear view in the center. So if you've got a cashcow or two girlfriends the same time.... ;D, go and get the Matrox Tripple-head.
Interestingly FSX crashed when loading the default 737. Even after I've restarted sim / Pc.

Cheers,
Fabian

;D ;D ;D

That could lead to serious fatique/tiredness and I do not recommend flying having that.

I screen & 1 girl = Aviation approved safety standards I would think
